The Crucible is one of the most acclaimed plays in the American theatrical canon.
This exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem is a gripping and timely parable of contemporary society.
THE CRUCIBLE is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Dramatists Play Service.

ABOUT THE SHOW
“In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines lived twelve little girls in two straight lines,”
begins the story of Madeline. This holiday season will be unlike any other for Madeline and her friends.
While on their morning walk with Miss Clavel, the girls come down with the flu, and as they take to their bed,
many wonder if they will be able to go home for Christmas. With the arrival of a mysterious stranger,
Madeline and the other girls get a holiday adventure beyond their wildest dreams.
A musical play adapted from Ludwig Bemelmans’ delightful book. A holiday treat for the whole family!

ABOUT THE SHOW
It’s 1958 in Beaufort, South Carolina at the home of 15-year-old Madeline Abernathy, author of "Elegant Girls Can Bake: The History of the American Cookie.” The Brandy Lou Graham Chapter of the Helen Meyer Society for the Inspired Young Baker is holding their Annual Creative Cookie Competition for the Inspired Young Baker. Will the girls be able to keep their cool when an Atomic Bomb threatens their idyllic town? Will Chip Tate ever finish building the gazebo for his Eagle Scout Project? And what will happen if they run out of butter?! These Pageant Princesses will have now have to depend on their spunk and determination to survive!

PLAYing Around!
Students Entering Grades K – 2nd Grade
SUNDAYS
9am – 10am

Cost: $150 (8 Weeks)
A terrific introduction to acting for the younger student. They will learn warm-up exercises, basic stage technique, play theater and games including mime and improv.
“Beastly Boys and Ghastly Girls”
A Production Workshop for students in 2nd Grade through 5th Grade!
In this performance class, students will take on roles in a unique show that combines pantomime and poetry. Based on a collection of humorous poems compiled by William Cole, students will create characters featuring the poet’s naughty and ill-mannered children. A fully propped, costumed, narrated presentation will be given for family and friends at the end of the session.
Meets Sundays from 10:30am - 12pm

FRIDAY NIGHT IMPROV!
No scripts, no memorizing, just fun!!
This highly creative class is a great tool for the experienced or novice actor. Students will explore various games, techniques and concepts in a fun, supportive environment.
Open to Students Entering Grades 4 thru 9

Junior : Grades 3rd through 6th
Meets Saturdays from 1pm - 3pm
Teen: Grades 7th - 12th
Meets Saturdays from 3pm - 5pm
Beginning Saturday, September 12th (8 Weeks*)
(*No Classes Saturdays, October 24th & 31st)

Presentation: Saturday, November 14th at 7pm
This scene-study workshop will focus on technique, character development and dialogue.
An age-appropriate short scene or one-act play, selected specifically for the students in the class will be presented at the end of the course.
ACTing Up!
RETURNS WINTER 2027
Teen Advanced Acting
For the more experienced actor. Deep dive into character development, subtext and motivation. Along with monologue work and scene study, this workshop will help teens to feel confident when tackling more advanced material. A presentation will be held at the end.
